Overview
The Oradour VFX work required the seamless integration of visual effects into a realistic and emotionally grounded historical TV fiction. The project involved delivering over 70 VFX shots across multiple sequences, combining practical footage with digital enhancements.
The challenge
The main challenge was to maintain a high level of realism while integrating complex visual effects into a sensitive historical context. This required precise compositing, continuity across shots, and close collaboration with production and post-production teams.
The solution
A hybrid VFX pipeline was developed, combining traditional compositing techniques with AI-assisted workflows to enhance efficiency and visual consistency. Each shot was carefully crafted to preserve the authenticity of the scenes while meeting production constraints and deadlines.
The result
The final delivery achieved a cohesive and cinematic visual integration across all VFX shots, supporting the narrative without disrupting realism. The project demonstrated the effectiveness of combining VFX with emerging AI workflows in a broadcast production context.
