Overview
The Oradour VFX work required the seamless integration of visual effects into a realistic and emotionally grounded historical TV fiction. The project involved delivering over 70 VFX shots across multiple sequences, combining practical footage with digital enhancements.
The challenge
The challenge was to preserve realism while integrating complex visual effects into a sensitive historical context. It required precise compositing, visual continuity and close collaboration between production and post-production.
The solution
A hybrid VFX pipeline combined traditional compositing techniques with AI-assisted workflows to support efficiency and visual consistency. Each shot was crafted to preserve the authenticity of the scenes while meeting production constraints and deadlines.
The result
The final delivery achieved cohesive and cinematic visual integration across the VFX shots, supporting the narrative without disrupting realism. The project demonstrates how VFX and emerging AI workflows can work together in a broadcast production context.
