IMC is an experimental AI film directed and art-directed by Dothy Moroders, and produced by the association Prodiges as part of an art-therapy programme.
The project emerged from writing and composition workshops initiated by Francisco, an art therapist, within Françoise’s care journey. Francisco also composed the film’s music.
Françoise, the patient at the heart of the project, is both the author and performer of the music. Her words, voice and personal experience form its narrative and emotional foundation.
IMC does not seek to represent a pathology or reduce a person to a diagnosis.
Instead, it gives visual form to a singular inner world through body perception, identity, transformation, embodied memory and the relationship with oneself.
My role as director and visual artist was to listen to this material, interpret it and construct a cinematic language capable of preserving the sensitivity and complexity of Françoise’s story.
The body is approached not as an object, but as a territory.
