Naughty Ting music video is an experimental visual piece for Substencia's remix of the E11 track, released on UNUSUAL RECORDS. The film brings together illustrated warriors, ornate portraits and graphic masks within a vivid world of red, pink and orange.
Silhouettes, layered textures and glitch effects connect these contrasting images. The visual approach explores the relationship between musical energy, graphic composition and movement.
Visual direction & compositing
I handled visual direction, editing and motion design, creating and compositing the video content with Smode and After Effects. My work connected the overall visual language with the construction of the sequences and the rhythm of the edit.
The project brings together image treatment, animation and compositing in a music-led piece, reflecting my practice across experimental film, motion design and visual performance.
