🌿LILYPHÉA – Luxury Fragrance Spec Film

What can a fragrance film become when AI is used as a cinematic language rather than simply as an image generator?

LILYPHÉA is a self-initiated luxury fragrance spec film conceived and directed by Dothy Moroders. Inspired by water, memory and botanical transformation, the project explores a sensory world shaped by reflections, organic matter, water lilies and shifting light.

The film follows a poetic journey from the depths of a secret aquatic landscape towards the surface, concluding with the emergence of the fragrance bottle.

I developed the complete creative direction, including visual research, narrative concept, four-act structure, storyboard, cinematic keyframes, AI image and video generation, editing, compositing and final visual consistency.

A Hybrid AI and VFX Workflow

LILYPHÉA was developed through a hybrid production pipeline combining generative AI, motion design and traditional VFX.

The process began with research into luxury fragrance imagery, botanical symbolism and cinematic storytelling. This visual foundation was translated into a detailed storyboard and a series of keyframes establishing the film’s composition, lighting, materials and emotional progression.

Generative tools were then used to create and animate the different environments. Each sequence was directed and refined through editing, compositing and image treatment to maintain the consistency of the bottle and the coherence of the visual world.

The objective was not to use AI as a standalone visual effect, but to integrate it into a controlled creative process capable of supporting premium storytelling and brand-level imagery.

This luxury fragrance spec film demonstrates how creative direction, generative image-making and VFX can work together from early visual development to final delivery.
